FogHorn Brewery

FogHorn Brewery brings Newcastle craft beer, pub dining and events together in a distinctive King Street setting. The brewery occupies a former art deco-era warehouse that had stood unused for several years before being reworked into a venue with exposed roof trusses and a custom 1,800-litre brewing system. It opened in April 2015, described by the brewery as Newcastle’s first modern craft brewery, with the city’s industrial history helping shape the space’s character.

The focus is beer made on site and a broad food menu built around local sourcing. FogHorn says its meat comes from Hunter Valley producers, bread is supplied by independent local bakers, and seafood, fruit and vegetables are sourced from local growers and suppliers where possible. The menu covers share plates, mains, pizzas, burgers, lighter meals, children’s dishes and desserts, making it practical for anything from a casual drink and a plate to a longer meal.
