Oriental Hotel

The Oriental Hotel, known locally as The Ori, is a family-run pub on the corner of Bull and Bruce streets in Cooks Hill, close to Newcastle’s centre. Originally built in 1889, it retains a casual, relaxed character rather than leaning into the feel of a gaming venue. There are no pokies, TAB, Keno or sports-gambling features, making it an option for a straightforward drink, meal or catch-up.

Food centres on hand-stretched pizza made with quality tomatoes and Fior di Latte mozzarella.
