Land mullets, a type of large skink, are also commonly seen in this part of the park.

There is plenty to look for beyond the scenery. Bring binoculars for birdwatching or, during the annual migration season, whale watching from the coast. The walk also provides access to Glenrock Beach, where visitors can swim or surf, near the mouth of Glenrock Lagoon.
